Have a blast while getting ready for 2nd and 3rd Grade! We will have fun practicing reading, writing, and editing skills, with drawing and artwork mixed in. Daily vocabulary and fluency work will be coupled with fun mystery graphing and a variety of exciting word work activities!

Magic Tree House & Adventures in Coding
Targeted Services Qualified Camps

If you love adventure and have an interest in coding, this class is for you! Each day we will read about Jack and Annie and their Magic Tree House adventures. We will create our own adventures as we learn coding using our personal school iPad and Scratch 3.0. Students will have opportunities to animate an avatar, create an imaginary world, make a virtual pet, and a basic pong game. We will have daily creation, collaboration, and sharing to support and learn from our classmates! This is a beginning course for students with limited coding experience.
