  • Basecamp Outdoor Skills

    Learn what it takes to survive the elements from our skilled staff. Activities are offered year-round and cover important topics, including the principles of survival, proper techniques for starting fires, building improvised shelter structures, and orienteering with a map and compass. Waivers are required to attend this field trip. We will send out a waiver via email prior to the field trip day. What to bring: Sneakers or athletic shoes. No flip flops, sandals, boots, or crocs allowed Athletic clothing Packed lunch Water bottle We also ask that those with long hair make sure to secure it in a way that is safe from getting tangled during the flight simulation (ponytail, braids etc.).
