    Build upon the skills you learned from the Improv-Beginner I class with this class! *Must have take the Improv Beginner I class to register. Led by Stevie Ray’s Improv Company, one of Minnesota’s longest-running and most respected improv theaters, this fun and supportive class will help you develop creativity, communication, and performance skills you can use on or off the stage. Students will finish off their program by having a recital at Chanhassen Dinner Theater for their friends and family. Audience members will be charged $5 to come and watch the recital. This goes towards the staff of Stevie Ray for hosting the show and to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. Chanhassen Dinner Theatre 501 W 78th St, Chanhassen, MN 55317 Once a recital date/time has been determined, the program manager will relay that to all participants.

    Terrified of public speaking? You’re not alone—and this beginner-friendly class will help you ditch the nerves and find your voice. Whether you're presenting at work, reading your writing aloud, or giving a speech at a special event, you'll learn the fundamentals of confident, clear communication. We’ll cover how to organize your thoughts, speak with clarity and purpose, manage anxiety, and connect with your audience. Through low-pressure activities and practical tips, you’ll leave feeling ready to speak up and stand out—no podium panic required. Login information will be emailed before class. As this course will be taught virtually, you will need access to video and audio on a computer, tablet or phone with internet connection. This class will be held on Zoom, which is free to use. The Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to the first day of class.
