  • Ballet, Tap & Jazz & Hip Hop (Spring Session)

    Ballet, Tap & Jazz Combo: A ballet, tap & jazz combination class. Students will learn basic techniques and skills, focusing on skill development and combination memorization. Dancers will perform three dances on the last day of class. Ballet shoes, tap shoes, and jazz shoes are required. Attire for Classes: Dance attire is strongly encouraged: Leotard or form-fitting shirt, shorts, or skirt. Appropriate shoes are required for each dance discipline. K-5th Grade Optional Hip Hop Add-On: A 30-minute Hip Hop class, optional to add on to your combo class. Tennis shoes for indoor use only required. Class Schedule: 2:35-3:50 pm: Ballet, Tap & Jazz Combo 3rd-5th grade ONLY 3:50-4:20 pm: Optional Hip Hop Add-On K-5th grade (STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR BALLET, TAP & JAZZ COMBO TO REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS.) 4:20-5:20 pm: Ballet, Tap & Jazz Combo K-2nd grade ONLY Eden Prairie Community Education is partnering with Dance Unlimited for quality dance education, with a recital performance on the last day of class. We welcome all ability levels, with a goal to instill the joy of dance in each of our students through a blend of proper technique and a fun atmosphere! This course is offered by Dance Unlimited. The program will include a giant balloon structure and a wooden frame pyramid up to the ceiling. Besides building the largest structures in the enrichment world, students will engage in a selection of diverse design challenges. They will draw architectural sketches, build mazes and chain reactions, and create 3D architectural models.     DASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, javelin throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Campers will be tested/timed and re-tested on several events. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance.
