For enrolling others in a Community Education Program
Have you ever wanted to learn how to play some of your favorite songs on ukulele? Camp Ukulele Level 2 can help you achieve that. Camp Ukulele Level 2 is a continuation of Camp Ukulele Level 1 and is meant for students who have taken the first camp and want to learn even more about the ukulele and how to play even more chords and songs. If you are not able to attend the level 1 camp, but would like to attend level 2, you should have some experience with the ukulele, know basics of how to strum, and how to play the chords C, F, A minor, and G. Ukuleles are available to use, or you can bring one from home if you have one of your own. During Camp Ukulele Level 2 you will also learn how to use digital tools, like GarageBand, to make your own music. We hope to see “uke” at Camp Ukulele Level 2!

My name is Jacob Kruse, I am the music teacher at Prairie View Elementary. I have been teaching in Eden Prairie for the past four years. Before, I taught K-6 general music at Pioneer Elementary School in Pierz, MN. I graduated college from Luther College in Decorah, IA. This past year I moved to Minneapolis. I perform professionally with the Vox Nova Chorale and have been a member since 2016. I live in Minneapolis and I love singing, playing ukulele, and going for walks.
