What is an End-of-Life Doula?

Adult Learning / Health and Wellness -
Fall 2024 Adult

This will introduce community members to the role of End-of-Life Doulas. Doulas assist patients and family members in all aspects of end of life. This includes patient and family education, legacy work, advanced directives, life review, sitting vigil with a dying patient, and all aspects of grief. Doulas provide emotional, spiritual and practical care where hospice leaves off. Find out why a Doula can help and how we compliment hospice.
