At Eden Prairie Schools, we believe that you are never done learning. That’s why our Community Education program offers hundreds of classes on topics from cooking to yoga. General topics include computer courses, dance, financial planning, fitness, hobbies, DIY home projects, music, language, personal growth, cooking, plus periodic seminars on parenting topics and more.

CMS Mornings is offered before school from 7:00am - 9:15 am. It is a program designed to provide a structured environment for students prior to the school day at Central Middle School. The program provided a designated space for students who are looking for quiet time or spend supervised time in the gym and outside for students who are interested in exercising or playing active games with friends. CMS Mornings is only offered on days school is in session. The rates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows: $18/day and $23/day for "drop-in" Registration fee is $50 for one student, $65 for two students and $75 for three or more students in the same family. Note: The 25-26 District School Year Calendar has not been released, due to this we do not know all of the non-school days. When released, all non-school days will be removed from the contract before contract acceptance. Contracts will begin to be accepted March 2025. Non-school days will open in August, 2025 School Year 2024-2025 We recommend updating your student's schedule as far in advance as possible. There is no guarantee that Eagle Zone can accommodate drop-ins at any point in the school year. This will be a site-by-site decision. Our two summer locations are Oak Point/Eagle Heights and Eden Lake this summer. On-site and off-site field trips will be on Tuesdays and Fridays at Eden Lake and various days at Oak Point/Eagle Heights! Oak Point/Eagle Heights will offer full day care for families looking for age/grade-specific activities and field trips. Eden Lake will offer half and full-day care for families who are also enrolled in Targeted Services, Extended School Year Program and their siblings. Contracts will begin to be accepted March 2025. You are your child’s first and most important teacher! Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes help you be the best parent to your child. ECFE classes are designed for you and your child age birth to 5. ECFE is unique to Minnesota and is a program of Eden Prairie Schools Community Education. From school-year and seasonal classes to playtime and special events, ECFE programs do the following: - Support your child's healthy development through engaging activities - Help you discover effective parenting tips you can use immediately - Allow you to enjoy parent/child time including songs, activities, games, and lessons that will help your child thrive in every way - Give families a chance to step away from the rapid pace of today's world and ease the stresses families face. Do you have questions about tantrums, sibling relationships, bedtime routines, healthy eating, or developmental milestones? Schedule a confidential one-on-one consultation with an experienced parent educator who will connect with you by phone, email, or video conference. This consultation is free to all Eden Prairie families with children ages birth through 5 years old. Parents of a K-12 child may also request a consultation for a $35 per hour fee. ONLINE REGISTRATION HELP HERE! Save the Date for Summer Enrollment! You may register your incoming Kindergarten student for Summer JR Eagle Zone. Summer JR Eagle Zone will open enrollment on February 17th, 2025 for the upcoming summer season and is open to all students who will be entering Kindergarten the fall of 2025! More information will be posted on our website here. Click on register to go to the correct registration site for Summer JR Eagle Zone. School year 2025-2026: Junior Eagle Zone is a childcare option for all Pre-K students in the Eden Prairie School District. You must sign up for the same school that your child attends Pre-k preschool. You must sign up for the corresponding dates that your child attends preschool. For example if your child attends 4 days a week pre-K class, you must sign up for the 4 day option. If your child attends a 5 days a week pre-k class, you must sign up for the 5 day option. Junior Eagle Zone registration will not be accepted until your pre-k class enrollment is confirmed. Contract acceptance will begin after March, 2025. Junior Eagle Zone is not open on days that school is not in session. Currently, the upcoming school district calendar has not been released, the non-school days for 2025-2026 will all be removed from your contract. Little Eagles Preschool provides an innovative classroom where creativity and imagination soars! Our diverse classrooms help students discover a love for learning in an interactive, stimulating, and academically rich environment. Your child will be immersed in a stimulating learning environment filled with fun, challenging, and creative learning activities! There are many preschool options available to families in Eden Prairie, but our Little Eagles Preschool program is the only one that aligns curriculum with Eden Prairie Schools K-12 curriculum and the overall K-12 system. We work closely with Early Childhood Special Education and kindergarten teachers to foster a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten.
