Secure an hour of time with Our expert Parent Educator Kathy Matthews. Kathy will customize your hour to fit your needs and topic. Rate of $35 is per hour.
This class is designed for people who have completed German III or who have previous German experience. We focus on three activities: sharing short German texts, discussing stories from a reader, and watching German films. We will meet weekly on Zoom accompanied by the Schoology learning management system. If you have questions, please contact the instructor, Martin Hidy, at mahidy@msn.com. Martin Hidy began his study of German with his European-born, German-speaking parents. He continued his studies at the University of Minnesota and earned an undergraduate degree in German Education. He has taught German in both small-town and suburban schools and at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels, most recently in the Edina Public Schools. His visits to the German-speaking world include six trips and tours with students, adults, family, and friends. He has over twenty years of experience teaching German through the Eden Prairie Community Education program.
