Secure an hour of time with Our expert Parent Educator Kathy Matthews. Kathy will customize your hour to fit your needs and topic. Rate of $35 is per hour.
This class is designed for people who have no previous German experience. The course will focus on topics of everyday German life, such as basic greetings, using phones, classroom items, and food. We will meet weekly in person, and use the course Linie 1 – A1.1 and the Schoology learning management system. If you have questions, please contact the instructor, Martin Hidy, at mahidy@msn.com. Martin Hidy began his study of German with his European-born, German-speaking parents. He continued his studies at the University of Minnesota and earned an undergraduate degree in German Education. He has taught German in both small-town and suburban schools and at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels, most recently in the Edina Public Schools. His visits to the German-speaking world include six trips and tours with students, adults, family, and friends. He has over twenty years of experience teaching German through the Eden Prairie Community Education program.
