Sara first stepped onto the mat after college using a home video as her teacher. Enjoying the clarity and calm she felt after practicing, Sara found a home on the mat that she did not know she was looking for. Sara has explored a variety of classes and formats throughout the area. Yoga has seen her through the ups and downs of life. Sara completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training through Green Lotus in Lakeville, MN in June 2024. Integrating the body, mind, and spirit through mindfulness, breath work, and movement to stay in the present moment has become an anchor for Sara. She is passionate about supporting positive mental health and mindfulness through yoga for our children and ourselves. An educator her entire adult life, Sara is excited to share her love of yoga with the community. Sara incorporates a variety of yoga styles into her teaching and has training in Children's Yoga, Gentle, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga.
Off the mat, Sara works part time as a school psychologist and raises three boys and a dog with her partner. Sara enjoys reading, knitting, meeting up with friends, and taking walks when she finds time!
