The program will provide a designated space for students who are looking for quiet time or spend supervised time in the gym and outside for students who are interested in exercising or playing active games with friends.

You are your child’s first and most important teacher! Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes help you be the best parent to your child.
Our Early Childhood Screening appointments are a free service and usually take about an hour to complete. If you have concerns regarding your child's development or your child is entering kindergarten in the Fall of 2023, please call 952-975-6940.
Looking to ease your 4 year old into the elementary preschool experience? Enroll your child into our Junior Preschool program! Available as a 3 or 4 day consistent schedule, students have the opportunity to enjoy a typical preschool classroom.
Little Eagles Preschool provides an innovative classroom where creativity and imagination soars! Our diverse classrooms help students discover a love for learning in an interactive, stimulating, and academically rich environment.
Secure an hour of time with Our expert Parent Educator Kathy Matthews. Kathy will customize your hour to fit your needs and topic. Rate of $35 is per hour.
For enrolling others in a Community Education Program
Toddlers grow, change and try new things at a rapid pace. Join this class where eager students turn a whirl of activity into learning that inspires confidence. You will learn songs, games, stories and activities to extend your child’s learning at home. There will be parent discussion time to explore what is behind your toddler’s endless energy and enthusiasm. Non-Separating.
The curriculum covered will have some repetition from prior seasonal sessions and will focus on each child/family’s needs.

Stephanie is a licensed Parent Educator with a Masters in Education. She started working for Eden Prairie Schools in 2003 and teaches ECFE classes, provides parent education for preschool parents, and is a district parent liaison. Stephanie lives in St. Louis Park, has 2 adult children and enjoys running, biking, reading, and local live music.
Kathy is passionate about helping parents grow in their skills and confidence when it comes to parenting. She loves connecting with children whether they are 3 months old or 5 years old - their sweet smiling faces warm her heart! She loves working in ECFE because it brings families together to connect and build their community of friends that can last a lifetime. Kathy is a Licensed Parent Educator and holds an MBA from St. Thomas and a Master in Education from the University of MN. She looks forward to meeting you!
Arya has a Masters of Education in Early Childhood education from the University of MN. She has participated in Eden Prairie's ECFE program with all three of her young children since 2012 and became a child educator for the program in 2018. Her favorite part about working with young children is seeing the rapid developmental growth in the pivotal early years. She is excited to work together with you and your family this year!
