    Eden Prairie Schools Alumni Night at Target Field Join us for a fun evening at the ballpark on Tuesday, June 11, as the Minnesota Twins take on the Texas Rangers. Tickets are just $14 per person. Reconnect with the Eagle Family and enjoy a summer night with fellow alumni. While there will be no formal networking, alumni are welcome to bring their families and children for a relaxed and enjoyable outing. The Family Field Trip program is now a fee-based initiative, with fees determined by your household income. During registration, you will be prompted to select your household's income level and will be charged accordingly for each family member. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Community Education for further assistance. These trips provide a great opportunity for the entire family to learn together! WHO: Eden Prairie Schools students ages 4+ with a caregiver! Families with multiple students are welcome to join, but all youth under 18 must attend with a registered adult. Register each person (all children and caregivers) attending. These trips are intended to reduce barriers and provide access to enriching experiences for students who may not otherwise have opportunities to visit these destinations. WHEN: Select days throughout the year. WHERE: A variety of locations throughout the Twin Cities! Busing will be provided to and from Central Middle School (CMS). SW Prime rides are available if you are unable to get to CMS. IMPORTANT NOTES: If you are registered and cannot attend, but do not communicate to Community Education staff by email or phone and do not show up, your registration for upcoming field trips will automatically be moved to the waitlist. Pack a lunch or bring money to purchase your own food. Ready to eat Every Meal food bags will be available, if needed. Participants must ride the bus to and from the event. Spots are limited, and no walk-ons will be accepted. Register early to save your spots! To protect the health and safety of participants, you may not attend if you or anyone in your immediate household is experiencing symptoms of COVID or is sick. The goal of the program is to create equitable access, so all youth can experience enriching learning activities with their families. In celebration of PeopleFest!, Eden Prairie's community-wide celebration of culture, the August 1st visit to the Bell Museum and Gibbs Farm will be open to all residents (as space allows) and free thanks to PeopleFest!
  • Piece It Together: Puzzle Competition (Adult 13+)

    Calling All Puzzle Enthusiasts! Think you’ve got what it takes? Gather your team (ages 13+) and join us for a Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge! Test your skills, teamwork, and speed as teams of 2 to 4 compete to complete a 500-piece puzzle faster than anyone else. Bring your A-game and let the pieces fall into place! **IMPORTANT** Participants who are 13-17 years old must be on a team with at least one person that is 18+. How to Register: A team should register under ONE person. This person will serve as team captain as they will be receiving the confirmation information and rules for the competition. The Team Captain will list their team members' names and the team name at the end of the registration process. Teams must be registered by May 9, 2025. Event Details: When: Saturday, May 17th. Check in is at 9:30 AM. The competition starts at 10:00 AM sharp! Team Size: 2-4 people. If you register as a group of 2, you will be competing with groups of 4 people. Participants can be 13+. Participants under 18 years old must be on a team with at least one person who is 18+. Puzzles: Identical puzzles will be provided and kept hidden until the start. The puzzle will go home with the group. Rules: Hands only! No cutting tools, flashlights, phones, or other aids allowed. No interference: Onlookers cannot assist, switch out team members, or distract competitors. Participants may not approach other team tables or distract other teams Breaks: There will be no official breaks but teams are allowed to do so as needed Food & Drinks: Enjoy at your own risk (non-alcoholic only). Food and drinks will not be provided. How to Win: The first team to complete their puzzle and receive judge approval wins! Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place. If no team completes their puzzle by the time limit, the winner will be determined by the number of remaining pieces. *Table/Seating will likely be cafeteria style tables.
