The program will provide a designated space for students who are looking for quiet time or spend supervised time in the gym and outside for students who are interested in exercising or playing active games with friends.

You are your child’s first and most important teacher! Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes help you be the best parent to your child.
Our Early Childhood Screening appointments are a free service and usually take about an hour to complete. If you have concerns regarding your child's development or your child is entering kindergarten in the Fall of 2023, please call 952-975-6940.
Looking to ease your 4 year old into the elementary preschool experience? Enroll your child into our Junior Preschool program! Available as a 3 or 4 day consistent schedule, students have the opportunity to enjoy a typical preschool classroom.
Little Eagles Preschool provides an innovative classroom where creativity and imagination soars! Our diverse classrooms help students discover a love for learning in an interactive, stimulating, and academically rich environment.
Secure an hour of time with Our expert Parent Educator Kathy Matthews. Kathy will customize your hour to fit your needs and topic. Rate of $35 is per hour.
For enrolling others in a Community Education Program
Two year olds use experimentation to help interpret their world. Join this class and watch your child explore every learning opportunity with curiosity and passion. Children will practice social skills such as taking turns, listening to the teacher and following in line while experiencing a fun and loving classroom environment. Parents will meet and discuss topics like healthy eating habits, toilet training and how to set limits with love. Enjoy parent/child time including songs, activities and games that will help your child thrive in every way. Relax and enjoy the parent support and discussion time while building a network of friends for your child and family. Separating.
The curriculum covered will have some repetition from prior seasonal sessions and will focus on each child/family’s needs.

Katie is a Licensed Educator – Birth to 3rd grade from the University of Wisconsin Stout. She has taught ECFE classes for the Eden Prairie School District since 2017 and, prior to that, she taught kindergarten. Katie was also a stay at home mom for 20 years with her three children. She is going on 30 years with her husband, Jeff, and has three young adult children. Karl, 24, just graduated from the U of A and is trying out for the Army Special Forces. Ian, 22, is a Senior at Liberty University in Virginia studying Law. Her daughter, Ireland, is 18 and a Senior at Chaska High School. Katie enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, snorkeling, pickle ball, and most of all loves spending time with all the young children in her classes.
Karen is a Licensed Parent Educator with a Masters in Family Education from the U of M. She has taught ECFE classes for 22 years and prior to that she was an elementary education teacher. She has two adult children, Laurie and Nelson. They both live and work out of state but enjoy visits home to see their family pets Patches (dog) and Jellybean (cat). Karen enjoys yoga, pickleball, birdwatching and taking walks with friends.
