    Discovers the wonders of camping and the environment around us. Enjoy different classroom stations that are packed with games, puzzles, books and arts and crafts all related to camping. In our dramatic play area, your little camper can explore a camping environment complete with a tent, camping equipment, play food for grilling and toys for a full camping experience. Weather permitting we will be camping out in nature during class.

    In this advanced drawing class designed especially for older kids, we’ll explore the exciting world of Anime! Artists will fine-tune their drawing skills as they master techniques and draw popular characters like Egg Gudetama (Lazy Egg Yolk), Totoro, and more! We’ll even paint our own anime-style self-portraits on real canvas boards. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to fine-tune their drawing skills. Please pack a nut free snack, lunch and a drink for your child.

Learn from Twin Cities Chess Club instructors who have years of teaching experience. Competitive chess tournaments are scheduled once a year and students can play for real chess trophies!     Embark on a culinary journey with our 'Flavors from Around the World' cooking class! Discover the vibrant and diverse world of global cuisine as we explore the exciting tastes and techniques from various cultures. From sizzling stir-fries in Asia to savory pastas in Italy, each day we will transport young chefs to a new corner of the globe. Through hands-on cooking experiences, fun cultural insights, and teamwork, participants will not only learn essential kitchen skills but also gain a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of flavors that make up our world. Join us and let your taste buds travel to exciting destinations this week! This courses is a part of a pilot program, Pick Your Price.     In this Spanish course, created for incoming 2nd and 4th graders, we will dive into a fairytale world and art. We will explore all types of fairytale worlds and create art. This course will encourage literacy through the exploring lens of fairytales and art.

    Illuminate the light this summer with awesome STEAM projects. Have fun as we explore glow in the dark pigments and learn the difference between fluorescent vs luminescent. We’ll also use LED lights to create a handy flashlight, light up under water sea monsters, engineer a cool night lamp, and more! Full of fun STEM and art projects (STEAM). Take home a light-up project every day!

  • Jr NBA Basketball Camp

    DASH Sports Summer Jr. NBA basketball camps provide players with a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camp ends with scrimmages and games the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a snack. Basketballs are provided. Each participant may select to include an optional custom Jr. NBA Jersey with their registration for an additional fee.

    DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes.

    Have you ever wanted to play the ukulele? At Camp Ukulele Level 1 you will learn all about the amazing instrument as well as how to tune it, play simple melodies, and some chords. This course is great for beginners. Ukuleles are available to use, or you can bring one from home if you have one of your own. During Camp Ukulele Level 1 you will also learn how to use digital tools, like GarageBand, to make your own music. We hope to see “uke” at Camp Ukulele Level 1!

    Join us for an exciting week of game design! This course will give you hands-on experience developing your own game. Students will create their own version of asteroids from scratch, using construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.
