  • Summer CMS EPIC Enrichment Courses (6th-9th grade)

    EPIC Enrichment camps & courses provide fun opportunities to be active, make friends, and explore activities like STEM, arts & crafts, coding, sports, and more in a short-term, flexible format. When does the Summer 2024 EPIC Enrichment class registration open? Registration will open on Wednesday, February 28th at 8:00 AM. Where is it? Incoming kindergartners through 6th grade students will attend Forest Hills Elementary. Sixth through 8th grade students will attend Central Middle School. Sixth-grade students can attend either the elementary or middle school program. When is it? Elementary and Middle School EPIC camps run Monday–Thursday with the morning session running from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM and the afternoon session running from 1:00–4:30 PM for seven weeks during the summer. Each camp is one week long. Week 1: June 24 - June 27 Week 2: July 8 - July 11 Week 3: July 15 - July 18 Week 4: July 22 - July 25 Week 5: July 29 - August 1 Week 6: August 5 - August 8 Week 7: August 12 - August 15 (There are no classes the week of July 1–5.) How much does it cost? Prices vary by EPIC camp. When will the EPIC Enrichment camps & courses be available to preview? We will release a summer catalog on February 19, which will include additional details on our summer program options. The catalog will also include this year's course catalog, listing all of the EPIC and Targeted Services courses available to families throughout the summer. The digital catalog will be available on all youth programs pages of the website, and a limited number of hard copies will be available to families for pick-up at our Community Education office and at each elementary building. NOTE: You must register your student for classes that are for their 2024-25 school year grade. (Example: All current 6th graders must be registered into 7th grade classes.)

  • Summer CMS Targeted Services (6th-9th grade)

    Incoming 6th-9th grade students are invited to join our Central Middle School team for a summer academic boost! Licensed CMS teachers will be teaching classes that feature an academic focus. Students will be split up into two sessions that occur each day: Reading and Math. Please note when registering for a Targeted Services course, you are registering your student for the entire 6 weeks of Reading and Math. The entire 6-week course is Monday-Thursday from 9:30 am-12:30 pm (no classes the week of July 1st-5th). Once you are registered, your Targeted Services teacher will review your student's Continuous Learning Plan to place them in the correct sessions of Reading and/or Math. Your student must be referred for Targeted Services to enroll in a CMS Targeted Services course. Registration opens on Wednesday, February 28 at 8:00 AM.

  • Summer Targeted Services Courses (1st-6th grade)

    Targeted Services is the option for students who need a little academic support to catch up or stay on track in math, reading, and social/emotional skills. Students qualify for summer Targeted Services through a teacher referral. When does the Summer 2024 Targeted Services registration open? Registration will open on Wednesday, February 28th at 8:00 AM. Where is it? Targeted Services is available for incoming 1st through 6th grade students at Forest Hills Elementary and 6th through 8th grade students at Central Middle School. Sixth-grade students can attend either the elementary or middle school program. When is it? Elementary Targeted Services (1st–6th grade) runs Monday–Thursday mornings 8:30 AM –12:00 PM. Targeted Services run in three two-week-long sessions: Session 1: June 24–July 11 Session 2: July 15–July 25 Session 3: July 29–August 8 (There are no classes the week of July 1-5.) NOTE: To create a full-day experience with both EPIC morning and afternoon sessions, as well as Eagle Zone, you must register to attend Forest Hills Eagle Zone. How much does it cost? Students who qualify for Targeted Services attend FREE of charge.
