Eden Prairie Community Education

Study after study shows that when children spend time playing outside, they develop confidence, language, curiosity, imagination, problem-solving and social interaction skills. The great outdoors provides unique stimulation and heightens sensory experiences that can't be replicated indoors. Together, parents and children will explore nature through a variety of experiential, hands-on outdoor activities. Activities will be led by a licensed teacher and naturalist with time built in to explore. A parent educator will provide additional information on ways to support and engage your child in nature. Class will end with a circle time. $80 per session, sign up for one session or all. Siblings that are under the age of 1 yr/no registration fee.

In this hands-on cooking camp, master chefs will cook up their favorite classic breakfast and dishes with a fun twist. Each day is packed with exciting activities, cooking challenges, and creative projects! By the end of the week, young chefs will be making delicious breakfast meals with friends and family. It’s time to host the ultimate Dinner Party! In this hands-on cooking class, young chefs will learn how to prepare a delicious, well-balanced meal from start to finish. From appetizers to main courses and even a tasty dessert, kids will gain essential kitchen skills while creating a meal perfect for sharing. They’ll practice chopping, sautéing, baking, and plating techniques to make their dishes look and taste amazing. Whether they dream of being a chef or just love to cook, this class is all about teamwork, creativity, and fun in the kitchen! From bubbling potions (aka delicious drinks) to spellbinding snacks and sweet treats, this hands-on cooking class will teach young chefs how to create whimsical recipes straight from the halls of Hogwarts. Along the way, they’ll practice kitchen skills, experiment with fun ingredients, and bring a little magic to their meals!
