Tai has always loved creating and making, but it wasn’t until she discovered metalsmithing and jewelry making that she truly found her passion. From that moment on, she was all in—and she’s been working as both a jeweler and an instructor ever since.
For nearly 20 years, Tai has been teaching metalsmithing across the Twin Cities metro area. She runs her own classroom at Salibenne Jewelry Studios in Eden Prairie and also teaches through several regional community education programs, as well as at the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center in South Minneapolis.
With two decades of teaching under her belt, Tai has developed a deep appreciation for how the human brain works. She finds joy in figuring out the best ways to present information to each unique learner. Her favorite moments are when concepts click, creativity sparks, and students light up with excitement.
When she’s not in the classroom, Tai enjoys baking, reading, gardening, and just about anything involving furry companions.
