  • Appetizers - Quick, Easy and Enticing

    We'll make over 20 appetizers that require less than 20 minutes from start to finish! You can serve these appetizers as a first course, a snack, or even create a complete buffet for your family and friends. Selections will include recipes for spreads, hearty appetizers, dips, dippers, nibbles, hot appetizers and more! Enjoy your creations during class or take your samples home.   • French Gourmet Dinner

    Send your taste buds on a trip to romantic France. During this hands-on class, you'll prepare a delicious five-course French dinner. Provence, the region home to Marseille, Nice and the Riviera, often bases its cuisine on garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, saffron, and herbs. You'll experience Vichyssoise, Potato Galettes, Saffron Rice, Coquille St. Jacques a la Provencale, and Creme Caramel. You'll also learn something of the history and culture of the French Provence region. A food fee of $15 will be collected at class. 
  • Holiday Cookie Bake and Take

    Nancy and her elves are back to help get you ready for the holidays! As always, you’ll take home ten varieties of cookies including: Cherry Poppyseed Thumbprints, Lemon Crinkles, Peanut Butter Balls, Molasses, Santa’s Sugar, Peppermint Meltaways, Holiday Bells, Christmas Trees, Peanut Blossoms, M&M and some surprises for you as well! You’ll go home with ten dozen cookies. In this hands-on class, you will be working in pairs. You’ll be provided with cookie dough, and everything you need to form, trim, and decorate the cookies. Your cookies will be baked for you by Nancy’s team in large commercial ovens. This is a big hit with students who want to enjoy more time forming and decorating their cookies, and less time worrying about burning them! Hair nets and gloves will be provided, but bring your own apron if you like. And, most important, don’t forget to bring containers to carry home your ten dozen treats. Please arrive on time and plan on staying the full three hours, students arriving late may not be accepted into class. After clean-up is complete we will enjoy beverages and cookies. Due to safety restrictions, and out of respect for the adult attendees, no children are allowed in or near the class. You may send someone in your place if you cannot find child care. Cookies will not be given to no-shows. There will be a $14 food fee payable to the instructor in class. This class is not able to accommodate nut allergies. 
  • Lefse

    This wonderful Norwegian delicacy is made for banquets, holidays, weddings, and all special occasions. If you are Norwegian and missed Grandma's recipe, tips and techniques - this is the class for you! Note: other nationalities find lefse delicious too! Learn the fine points in making the dough, baking, storing and of course how to serve lefse - bonus is a bit of history and humor too. We will begin with real potatoes using a number of authentic recipes - and a modern version using instant potatoes. Plan to sample your fresh, warm creations with traditional fillings plus take home finished lefse and dough to bake, then share with family and friends. A food fee of ($9) will be collected at class.   • Truffles! Candies for All Occasions

    With just one 3-hour class, you'll be making truffles for all of those special occasions. We will make five different recipes in class, and each student will take home a nice box of 15-18 truffles. This is one of Nancy's most popular classes! Supply fee of $12.00 collected in class by instructor and truffle/candy kits available for purchase ($18) for future candy making projects. This class is not able to accommodate nut allergies.
