You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults and children by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies.
