This camp is a hands-on product design class emphasizing creative thinking and problem-solving. Students will explore options to find, modify, and prepare 3D files to be brought to life using a 3D printer. By the end of this course, students will become familiar with the workflow and terminology of digital fabrication. We begin learning by designing and printing functional fishing lures, then continue solving design challenges. Printing and material fees are included.

At Eden Prairie Schools, we believe that you are never done learning. That’s why our Community Education program offers hundreds of classes on topics from cooking to yoga. General topics include computer courses, dance, financial planning, fitness, hobbies, DIY home projects, music, language, personal growth, cooking, plus periodic seminars on parenting topics and more.

Learn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association ‎Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED ‎Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course.

In this class, tailored for absolute beginners, you'll transform into a confident communicator, discussing personal introductions, weekend plans, your surroundings, and family dynamics. Mastering essential vocabulary and unlocking the power of present tense -ar, -er, and -ir verbs will be your keys to success!

This class is tailored for individuals who have completed Beginner Spanish I. By the end of this course, you will discuss your daily routine, clothing, and food. You will achieve these goals by mastering vocabulary related to these topics, as well as learning direct and indirect object pronouns, reflexive verbs, the present progressive conjugations, and the uses of -ar, -er, and -ir verbs.

It is a program designed to provide a structured environment for students prior to the school day at Central Middle School. The program provided a designated space for students who are looking for quiet time or spend supervised time in the gym and outside for students who are interested in exercising or playing active games with friends. CMS Mornings is only offered on days school is in session. The rates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows: $18/day and $23/day for "drop-in" Registration fee is $50 for one student, $65 for two students and $75 for three or more students in the same family.
