Non-school days will open in August, 2025 Summer 2025 Summer is quickly approaching, we host fun-filled, themed weeks for your upcoming kindergarten through 5th-grade students. Our two summer locations are Oak Point/Eagle Heights and Eden Lake this summer. On-site and off-site field trips will be on Tuesdays and Fridays at Eden Lake and various days at Oak Point/Eagle Heights! Oak Point/Eagle Heights will offer full day care for families looking for age/grade-specific activities and field trips. Eden Lake will offer half and full-day care for families who are also enrolled in Targeted Services, Extended School Year Program and their siblings. Contracts will begin to be accepted March 2025. A one-time registration fee is charged on the following for summer: February 17–March 20: Fee waived March 20–August 8: $50/child non-refundable fee - Maximum of $100 per family Eagle Zone Summer Dates: Full Day Summer Program is available Monday-Friday from June 16 -August 21. 7:00am-6:00pm.     Bring your imagination to life. Become a master bricklayer and use our special architectural LEGO® kits to build your creations. Be an architect as you learn the principles of construction. The main goal of the course is to introduce the concept of 3 dimensions and their role in design. Students will construct buildings, structures, towers, castles, and more within teams. Students will learn construction principles and use math skills to experiment with scale and size, staggering vs. stacking bricks, and more.     In this engaging course, students will learn the content and strategies they need to find success with the ACT. Taught by current and retired certified teachers from Eden Prairie High School, students will participate in comprehensive sessions on each section of the test (English, math, reading, science, and writing). Students will learn the format of each section, strategies for how to approach the questions, and will have the opportunity to complete practice questions and a full practice ACT test.   • Adopt-A-Pet Dance Camp

    A fun-filled week of dancing and play! On the first day, we will choose a pet to adopt and give them a special name. Throughout the week, we will bring our pets on dancing adventures and obstacle courses, plus create crafts for our pet and play fun games. At the end of the week, we get to bring our new pet home! Ballet or Jazz shoes are encouraged but optional. Bring a snack and water bottle each day. We will have a performance for the last 10 minutes on Thursday. This course is taught by Dance Unlimited.     American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification Course

    Learn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association ‎Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED ‎Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course.
