Summer 2024 Program Summer is here, we host fun-filled, themed weeks for your upcoming kindergarten through 6th grade students. Registration closes on August 8th for the summer. We offer full and half day options for childcare. On-site and off-site field trips will be on Tuesdays and Fridays! Our two summer locations are Prairie View and Forest Hills for the summer of 2024. Prairie View will offer full day care Services, Forest Hills offers half day afternoon Eagle Zone with morning Targeted Services, Extended School Year Program and EPIC enrichment courses as well as full day Eagle Zone on days when your child does not have a course. A one time registration fee is charged on the following for summer: $50/child non-refundable fee/Maximum of $100 per family Eagle Zone Summer Dates: Full Day Summer Program is available Monday-Friday from June 12th-August 22nd 7:00am-6:00pm. Half Day Summer Program is available Monday-Thursday from June 24th-August 15th, except for July 4th week, 12:00pm-6:00pm at our Forest Hills Location only for families enrolled in a morning course the same week as half day Eagle Zone.     Little Eagles Preschool provides an innovative classroom where creativity and imagination soars! Our diverse classrooms help students discover a love for learning in an interactive, stimulating, and academically rich environment. Your child will be immersed in a stimulating learning environment filled with fun, challenging, and creative learning activities! There are many preschool options available to families in Eden Prairie, but our Little Eagles Preschool program is the only one that aligns curriculum with Eden Prairie Schools K-12 curriculum and the overall K-12 system. We work closely with Early Childhood Special Education and kindergarten teachers to foster a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten.
  • 3D Printing: Dungeons & Dragons

    Learn the ins and outs of 3D Design and 3D printing with TinkerCAD! TinkerCAD will teach you 3D design and 3D printing! While learning 3D design skills, students will make custom D&D D4s (4-sided) and D10s (10-sided). They'll also do fun D&D-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. The custom dies will be printed and sent home. Dies will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included.
  • 3D Printing: Jewelry Fabrication & Arts

    Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant in this class. Additionally, they will get to bring home two of their 3D creations. Printing and material fees are included.
  • 3D Printing: Product Development & Fabrication

    This camp is a hands-on product design class emphasizing creative thinking and problem-solving. Students will explore options to find, modify, and prepare 3D files to be brought to life using a 3D printer. By the end of this course, students will become familiar with the workflow and terminology of digital fabrication. We begin learning by designing and printing functional fishing lures, then continue solving design challenges. Printing and material fees are included.

    American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification Course

    Learn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association ‎Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED ‎Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course.
