Summer CMS Friday Field Trips

Get ready to make a splash at Valleyfair – it's field trip time! Round up your buddies and buckle up for a day packed with thrills, spills, and endless fun. Test your skills and win big at the fun games scattered throughout the park and when the heat kicks in, cool off at the water park, where wild slides and lazy rivers offer the ultimate chill-out zone. So grab your sunscreen, grab your pals, and get ready to turn up the excitement at Valleyfair. What to bring: Comfortable shoes for all-day walking Comfortable clothing for all-day walking Sunscreen Swimsuit and towel for water park Packed lunch or money for lunch Water bottle Tentative Schedule: 8:45-9:15 am - Parent/Guardian drop-off at CMS 9:30 am - Depart CMS 10:00-3:30 pm - Field Trip at Valley Fair 3:30 pm - Depart Valley Fair 4:00 pm - Arrive back to CMS & Parent/Guardian Pick-Up

IFLY - Indoor Skydiving
Summer CMS Friday Field Trips

Join us for an engaging field trip that blends education with excitement, offering students an immersive experience they'll never forget. During this interactive learning adventure, students will dive into the physics of flight through demonstrations and engaging STEM presentations. Students will explore the principles of aerodynamics, learning how factors like air resistance and body position impact their ability to soar through the sky. But the excitement doesn't stop there! With hands-on activities that bring science to life, students will experiment with the forces that govern flight and under the guidance of a certified instructor experience firsthand the thrill of defying gravity! What to bring: Sneakers or athletic shoes. No flip flops, sandals, boots or crocs allowed Athletic clothing Packed lunch Water bottle We also ask that those with long hair make sure to secure it in a way that is safe from getting tangled during the flight simulation (pony tail, braids etc.). Tentative Schedule: 9:45-10:15 am - Parent/Guardian Drop off at CMS 10:30 am - Depart CMS 11:00 am - Arrive at iFLY 11:00 am-2:30 pm - Field Trip at iFLY (Student's need to bring a non-refridgerated lunch.) 2:30 pm - Depart iFLY 3:00 pm - Arrive back at CMS & Parent/Guardian Pick Up
