  • Healing and Balance Yoga

    Healing and Balance classes are designed to counter common physical issues created by our sedentary culture. Drawing from Eischens Yoga and functional movement, Healing and Balance classes consist of clear instruction and lots of modifications. Dress for comfort and movement, and have a yoga mat and two yoga blocks ready (approximately 4"x 6"x 9"). Must be able to get down and up off the floor. As this course will be taught virtually, you will need access to video and audio either on a computer or tablet or phone with internet connection. This class will be held on Zoom. You do not need to pay for a Zoom account, but you will need to set up a free basic Zoom account to log in to classes.
  • Movement for Healthy Feet

    Most of us have feet that lack mobility and strength. This is directly linked to alignment issues and joint pain in other parts of the body. This two-hour event will address some of the common causes of those tight, stiff feet. Dress for some simple movement. We will work barefoot. Bring a yoga mat or blanket. Come learn how to improve foot function and health. Healthier feet = healthier you.
  • Tai Chi Chuan for Health and Wellness

    This gentle SUN family form improves mental and physical capacity as well as relaxation, balance and vitality! The postures are done in a slow, gentle, continuous sequence. Tai Chi has proven through numerous scientific studies to relieve pain, increase range of motion and improve quality of life. Arthritis foundations around the world and the CDC are recommending it for arthritis and fall prevention. This form is suitable for most physical conditions and can be done sitting or standing. Please wear flat shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. Sandals not recommended.
  • Tai Chi for Energy

    This unique, non-martial exercise is comprised of the SUN and Chen styles. Chen is a more rigorous form consisting of fast and slow movements. SUN style is more gentle and incorporates qigong into the form. Together they create a powerful synergy. As with all Tai Chi, this form will help you achieve better health, wellness, and internal and external balance. Not suitable for some physical conditions. Wear flat shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. No sandals please.
