    This class is tailored for individuals who have completed Beginner Spanish I. By the end of this course, you will discuss your daily routine, clothing, and food. You will achieve these goals by mastering vocabulary related to these topics, as well as learning direct and indirect object pronouns, reflexive verbs, the present progressive conjugations, and the uses of -ar, -er, and -ir verbs.

    Continue to learn German from home with Martin Hidy, a licensed German teacher with a wide variety of teaching experience, including over twenty years with Eden Prairie Community Education! This class is designed for people who have been in Eden Prairie German I or have previous German experience. The topics we will discuss include daily activities, shopping, the family, and the home. We will meet weekly on Zoom and use the course, Linie 1, A1.1 accompanied by a learning management system. If you have questions, please contact the instructor, Martin Hidy, at mahidy@msn.com. Come and join us as we explore the culture, people, and language of the German-speaking world! As this course will be taught virtually, you will need access to video and audio on a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection. Zoom is free to use. The Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to class. For those who did not take German I with us, there will be a $34 cost paid to the instructor for the class book.

    German Seminar (Online)

    Continue to explore the culture, people, and language of the German-speaking world! This class is designed for people who have completed German III or who have more extensive previous German experience. We focus on three activities: sharing short German texts, discussing stories from a reader, and watching German films. We will meet weekly on Zoom and use the Schoology learning management system.
